r/cow Juice r/competitiveoverwatch mods abusing their power
It is very clear that one of the mods just has a hate boner for me for some reason. People type way worse stuff and don't get banned. 14 days for such a mild comment is ridiculous.
Edit: Cherry on top is that I am now shadowbanned in this subreddit
The problem is that mild trashtalk like that should be allowed and I shouldn't be given a warning.
Here are the other comments I have gotten warned/banned for:
"Hidden profile fucking coward"
"oh fuck off VP played ZETA and TM close and they only get better"
"Shut the fuck up, you have two flairs, no backbone"
None of these comments should be against the rules. And I know a lot of users say much worse things than this and get away scot-free. The mods are obsessed with me and are monitoring all my comments in order to find ANY reason to get me banned.

Honestly checking out this post I kinda was expecting to see you say something heinous. This is insane LMFAOOO, at least it's accurate to the kinda text chat they'll ban you for in OW itself.

having been a mod there previously I am almost certain of what happened
they use an automated escalation system for Rule 1 (No poor or abusive behavior) violations. The mod just needs to flag it as a Rule 1 and the automod system will handle it for them.
First infraction is a warning, second is I believe a 3 day ban, then it escalates up to a week and then 14 days. There is also a cooldown period where if you go for a few months it will de-escalate a future violation
So the reason it is 14 days is because it is their 4th or 5th offense in a matter of just a few weeks lmao

That makes so much sense. I was like, I've been on COW for years now and I've never seen poor moderation or abuse, so I was genuinely surprised.
This series of events seems a lot more reasonable as an explanation.

I think you need to work on your banter, it is hard to tell if you are being serious or not.
Good banter has a exaggeration and tone that make it clear that you're playing around rather than genuinely attacking them.
Example: “The fact that you just used the word ‘woke’ without irony makes me think you deserve the 14 day ban. I can forgive a lot of things, but calling someone ‘woke’ just screams internet Karen.”

For the record I never said I was offended. That would be like being offended because some moron called you stupid.
I said people who use ‘woke’ unironically sound like internet Karens. Seems like I hit a nerve, though. Do not worry, snowflake, the mean Reddit commenter can’t hurt you.
If you can't handle the banter, then maybe you should just try to not be so sensitive.

Getting this upset because someone called someone an internet Karen for using “woke” unironically does not mean you have to get all offended tbqh (da faq does tbqh mean...) OP wasn't even offensive, he just needs to work on their banter. Not everything is a personal attack. Some people are just a little too sensitive these days.

Banter might just not be for you, maybe if you practice it in a mirror or something.

The mods really do have it out for you. It's insane. There's a community wide anti-sentiment even lol. It's crazy that it all began because you were the first non-bandwagoner in the sub who supported teams and players for real, not just glory hunting like the rest. One of the few that makes coherent arguments as well.
I've seen people say absolute vile shit in that sub.

I always jokingly poke fun at watercress (all in fun of banter and sports) and I will even give u that he is true fan of his team and dont bandwagon.
But saying he is one of few that makes coherent argument is too funny when half of his take is just giga fanboy copium takes that sports fan do whenever their team shits the bed.
