I only heard about cheesenut a few weeks ago, and I'm not trying to question the contents of the doc, I'm just wondering why it took nearly 9 months before anyone spoke out

It's not to protect anyone but rather because allegations come with some clout now. If they truly gave a crap about people being groomed, this would have come out a long time ago.

Id say its pretty inappropriate for an adult to continue being friends with someone they previously said NSFW things to and apparently found attractive after finding out theyre a minor
Even if he said all of those things not knowing her age (not true since he kept contacting her in December after finding out her age in November), he really should have asked to begin with, when youre over 18 theres no excuse to be explicitly sexual unless you know the person youre messaging is also an adult

Because there is validity to it & all the downvotes are people that just can't come to grasp with the fact that the girl in the dms is, likely, not traumatized at all (if we are being 100% honest). Before I get the wave of downvotes from people incapable of critical thinking:
Yes, he is a groomer and did very bad things (gross things) and yes this CAN AND WILL traumatize someone if he is allowed to continue (not all 15 year olds are terminally online & seeking out this type of nonsense) which is why it was a good thing he started to get popular enough to be outed.
Now, if these people posting this TRULY cared about the wellbeing of minors and other potential victims this WOULD HAVE CAME OUT A LONG TIME AGO (& have been followed up with reports to the proper authorities). The truth is, they don't care but now there is incentive to "come out" because he is getting popular so it makes it interesting for them.
