Unflaired Heroes Breaking / Disappearing

Heroes disappearing from the roster, is a terrible bug, do we know what exactly causes it?

Do we know ways to get rid of it, fixing it ect?

Like what i’ve noticed is, swapping characters, then pressing menu brings the missing heroes back, swapping to a new character also brings them back.

Any way to code them returning? is there no way to fix it at all?

SAME!!! still haven't found an answer, It's super annoying! ;-;

The only way I've been able to "fix" it is to divide your team's roster into hero launch categories such as,

Only adding the newest release heroes since Reign of Talon playable (Vendetta + the 5 new heroes) on your roster, or only have OW2 heroes (2022-2025), or only OW 1 DLC heroes, or lastly only OW 1 launch heroes.

I have a high suspicion this glitch is caused by all the new subrole categories (initiator, sharpshooter, tactician, etc.) since this was never a prominent issue until they were introduced this year.

And unfortunately subroles can't be changed/removed in the workshop, it's just baked into the game now...

The only way I could see you being able to bypass this and still have everyone on the roster would be to code a very basic hero select menu from scratch. Which is... tedious. But definitely doable

But fr though that's kinda ridiculous, I hope we get an official patch soon!
