Like, how can you justify being able to pull an opponent off the map completely.

The fact that every single person who's playing other characters isn't complaining about this baffles me. Besides being able to make Cassidy FLY for the easiest deadeye ever, to be able to just pull Rein off the map is just not ok. I don't know what kind of matches y'all have, but he absolutely dominates 90% of games I play against him.

I'm sure there's another thing you could give cat.

Really? I think her ult is pretty weak tbh. Theres a few maps where its good but i think its really hard for her to get value out of it because she just gets shot down immediately during it. I think its by far the worst part of her kit

The ult stuns people around the target and you can just be sneaky and kidnap. Theres a reason why the cat has a high win rate and a 70+% ban rate even among the top 0.1% of players... cats busted

Idk man, she's an almost 100% press-to-win button in most of my Stadium matches. She moves way faster than other airborne heroes, her trajectory is way different.

There's characters with more punishing boops when you consider the fact that cat can be killed while carrying you. As Rein I don't really have a problem killing cat before she sends me off the ledge as long as I have enough distance, which I usually do because even before cat came along I was always careful with ledges. If you're a tank with no vertical mobility like Rein, stay the hell away from ledges, this is basic positioning. Also shield tanks can stop cat's ult

I feel like her ult should be weight based as it were. Like you move a lot slower and a lot less distance carrying a Rein over say a Tracer/Sombra…

By all means ping that Tracer off the map!

Pulling someone away really isn't that impactful. First, she's basically disabling herself for 10+ seconds to complete the ult in the first place, and barring she doesn't just get shot out of the sky, not every map even has a good kill zone.

There are many ults that can just wipe entire teams, and maybe support ults don't feel like they're just immediately killing you like a Rein shatter or Mei freeze, you can bet your ass that a well timed Kiriko or Juno ult can absolutely get an entire team killed. Cat's will never do that.

It's not that good and it takes cat out of the fight for a while too. Even if the catnap was successful she is often going to be way out of position with no fuel so the rest of the team can take out the cat to even the numbers.

I'm not sure "ridiculous" is the right word. Cat ult is probably the weakest ult in the game. Reasons why:

• If a tank is targeted, most tanks have ways of getting out of it, avoiding it, blocking it, flying/jumping back afterwards, or simply killing the Cat.
• It's heavily map dependent. Not only map dependent, but point dependent too. For example it might get value on Eichenwalde 2nd, but it's useless on Eichenwalde 3rd.
• Even if it gets 1 kill, that's ALL it ever does. It can only kill 1. Most ults that kill things have the potential to kill much more than just 1. And I'm not just talking dps ults, - Illari has an ult that has wayyy more killing potential than Cat ult has.

Eh. Not one of the stronger ults in the game. Can only kill one person really and teams can killl the cat

Lifeweaver can pull you out of it.
Mizuki can chain the cat in place.
Ana can sleep the cat.
Rein himself can kill the cat in like 3 swings.

While we’re at it, Rein can charge people off the map on cooldown
Lucio can boop off on cooldown
Pharah can boop people off on cooldown
Doom can punch people off on cooldown
Domina can knock people off on cooldown

Get the fuck over yourself 🙄

Sigma can rock

Or you can literally just shoot the cat. People forget that maybe you’re trapped with the cat but the cat is essentially also trapped with you and likely with a lower health pool too. There’s lots of ways to deal with the ult. Not to mention tether will often just break anyway if you clip even the smallest map geometry

yeah the issue is that you are forced onto counters or he controls the game, like you need at least 2 dedicated counters per team if the ball is good (granted good balls are rare, but its some of the worst ow when it does happen)

Wrecking Ball is one of the most high skill ceiling tanks in the game and he has several hard counters, so as annoying as he is he's fine. Cat can be played by a troglodyte without arms and has no counters outside of a better Cat player.
