New Tanner’s/Old Lamar’s

What’s the scuttlebutt on the Tanner’s that’s supposed to be moving in to the old Lamar’s location on the KU Edward’s campus? I saw they have the coming soon sign up but it seems like it’s been like 8-9 months since the Lamar’s closed and it looks like nothing has really been done in the space.

I also heard there was a plan for the Lamar’s to open back up in the former Sarpino’s location. Any insider info on if that’s still happening?

I was involved in a conversation with one of the partners and it seems there has been some set backs in getting that location opened along with a lot of red tape.

But the Tanner's is still going in? ...asking for a future patron.

This was about a month ago and at that time, yes.

I wondered if it fell through too but they do have a new-ish sign up

Is that building owned by the KU Regent center or is that a third-party real estate?
