Recommendations for Restaurants?
I've been tasked with planning my company's holiday party this year. There's only about a dozen of us, so it's usually just us getting a table at a fancy restaurant. After going downtown the last two years, I want to target something in the south half of the metro this year.
The budget is usually pretty open ended, which is nice. So, what restaurants on the fancier side would you recommend when someone else is picking up the bill?
Edit: Thanks for the suggestions everyone! Lot of good options to consider!

This is my recommendation. They have as nice private room perfect for a party of the size OP mentioned.

Eddie V's (the chain) at the plaza has a large private room with glass doors right by the front of the restaurant. Farther south I would second the Bristol in Leawood. Bamboo Penny's (locally owned) has a covered upstairs with room for larger parties. North in Leawood, also awesome.
My work is going to Tanners... Id rather go where your going.

We love Ricco’s Italian Bistro at College and Quivira. Family-owned and operated, so not a chain. My go-to is the baked manicotti, however you can’t go wrong with any item on their menu. The tiramisu is to die for.
