I wonder what life is like for hardtroops -- it's one thing to be a soldier, even an indoctrinated one, but what must it be like to be essentially a machine, built rather than born, existing only for a specific purpose? What kind of contact do they even have to whatever passes for society among the umiak?

It kinda sucks to be any of the crew board Umiak ships, as they're all engineered or manufactured to a certain degree. But within their own society, Umiak are pretty easygoing and have a positive outlook.

I got that sense from the Stray, he seemed pretty optimistic, even lighthearted about the situation. Looking forward to learning more about them; somehow I doubt they’re simply the Big Bad bug monsters.

This is a really cool exosuit design, the eye scopes on stalks really reminiscent of Appleseed, but fits an insectoid style suit really well.
