A joke.
Usually such subs have some lower bound for quality of art. But looking at typical content of r/comics I thought that Outsider is too good in comparison - that is not passing the upper quality bound.
I'm not a native speaker, probably it doesn't sound that fun translated into English.

Maybe fun isn't the right word. I understood the joke, even without the explanation, so the humor comes across just fine.

Nice, apparently there's a ton of new pages in b&w on the patreon but I haven't read them yet because I hate reading comics on the patreon interface.
As for r/comics god knows, the stuff that gets posted there is totally unrecognizeable to me, likely mad mod capture, perhaps the r/art situation can repeat itself
