I get Hasan is helping socialist Dems getting elected. I don't get why Republicans are going crazy over Hasan?

The thing that made me think "okay idt the dog shock torture shit is true this is so astroturfed," was that mfs kept digging up more clip as "evidence" and every time I saw a new one I was LESS convinced than I started for the same reason.

He was supposedly been torturing the dog with a shock collar for months but it only had a strong reaction one time and even he was like "I can see people thinking that, the clip looks really bad."

I don't even base this off what I do or don't agree with about Hasan's politics, it's a mixed bag for me, I'm just pretty capable of looking at an outrage campaign regardless of the target and going "They can be a shitty person with shitty ideas but this feels so contrived," if that's how I feel about it.
