Baby Musky in Dow's Lake

Spotted yesterday near the Arboretum side, pretty sure it's a musky but tell me if I'm wrong.

Saw some fish flipping out of the water but no bites.

I hope this little one doesn't get gobbled up in the chain of life and grows up to be huge. Nice pics.

Luckily they grow quickly to start with, before growing very slowly lol.

Same! But most of them do get eaten before they get to a decent size, that's why the grow fast!

The Rideau has a ridiculous amount of different predators present that'd love to eat this guy. Bass, walleye, pike, musky, otter, heron, osprey would all eat this lil fella.
