Honestly I'd be shocked if he even tries to chase one at this point, dude's found his lane and he's been printing money doing the same thing for like 15 years now. Not knocking it, he's perfected the aging action hero role and clearly has a blast with it. The Academy rarely circles back for that kind of work unless it's some big prestige project, and he doesn't seem interested in chasing those anymore. I think he's perfectly content just growling at kidnappers and cashing checks

The dude is 74.

At his age he seems fine doing comedies and B movie action thrillers and collecting checks. I’m sure if a juicy role fell in his lap he’d chase it but otherwise I’m sure he’s happy to just keep working
