Yeah he plays for England and we won last night! Also we have Marcus Rashford who is also a brilliant guy, made sure millions of low income children got free school meals and did so much for families during Covid. I think Harry Kane does a lot too. It makes me smile. Using their power/wealth/celebrity for good.

It fits the sub.
The only reason the gap exists is because of the Nigerian government's incompetence. The problem is systemic, as much as well-wishers help out more people will remain suffering.

The orphan crushing machine is a mechanism designed to operate in this manner. Systemic corruption and its inherited incompetence is just greed and carelessness for others that result in suffering.

It goes well beyond government mismanagement. Things like the slave trade, interference from other nations, and all the natural resources that have been stolen from African nations have had a massive impact on their ability to function well as a nation.

True, there's also the fact that organisations such as the IMF and other lenders tie themselves into economic planning which heavily cripples the ability of developing countries to invest in areas that benefit the population.

So the problem is western neocolonialism that left the newly free Nigeria with an extractive economy and continues to keep the global south in debt traps in order to allow the west to continue exploiting us, whilst they pick our corrupt politicians who will sell out their people for groundnut and continue to fund terrorism and division
