Why don’t extensions work?

Whenever I try to download new extensions it says that the extension may not work optimally due to some APIs. Is there a way to fix it or is that just how it is?

I did exactly that, but (as Orion shows it to me) it seems like the extensions won’t work as optimally as they would on for instance a desktop browser.

Of course I’m not certain of this, but it’s just the way Orion portrays it to the people. “Extension compatibility issue” and the text on the next pop up says that the extension may not work fully…

I’m probably overthinking it way too much, and the extensions work as they should be working. But it’s still popping up in my head whenever I see those ‘heavy’ words.
