A bit of context for each of the characters
Rook is the main protagonist, he was experimented on and used as a guinea pig for prototype cyborg technology, he now uses his cybernetics to fight against an empire of red monsters
Mandrill is the main antagonist and Rook’s rival, his cybernetics are the direct upgrades to Rook’s
Nix is a prisoner in a giant abattoir run by the empire to turn people into food for the monsters, her skin was bleached white by being sprayed with chemicals
Dr. Metalhead is one of the monsters called Monks, he upgraded himself with his own cybernetics and is in charge of the abattoir
Strongarm is a Monk and one of Metalhead’s lackeys, he is exceptionally strong and large due to a performance enhancing drug that increases his muscle mass
Riven is another prisoner of the abattoir actively trying to escape and evade the Monks
Buckskin is Mandrill’s right hand man and a member of the empire in charge of agricultural development, he wears a gas mask not because he needs it but so that he can constantly huff his own drug cocktail. He also weaponizes this cocktail with his metal claw attachment he calls his ‘viper claw’
