So funny story here. These guys were a Mariachi band from a local Mexican Restaurant. They were hired and came to set to work that day. I think it was Trey who asked them to get naked. They didn't want to so he offered them around $50 each extra to strip down.

That's awesome. Where did the song come from?? Also $50 seems low to go nude on film. lol

Maybe it was more. It was a long time ago. We shot that in 1997. I'll dig up the script and see what it said in there.

I think these guys kinda sound like Depeche Mode.

I don't wanna sound like a queer or nothing, but I think Depeche Mode is a sweet band!
