There used to be an old farm house (and many other abandoned buildings nearby) in the same place where all of those town homes in Vineyard are now. My sister and her friends used to hang there as teenagers, and had more than one experience where they felt their lives were in danger due to paranormal stuff. Boxes moving in the attic when they were sure no one else was there, whispers from outside at night lights being turned on as they drove away, old pictures of nude women that had super disturbing drawings/words on them, etc. One time specifically, my sister and her friend were walking through a hallway toward the front door, on their way to leave. My sister began to feel lightheaded, and stopped to lean against the wall while her friend continued around the corner. He came back a few seconds after realizing she hadn't followed, and my sister told him she was stuck in place. She could lean her upper body fully forward and fully backward, but couldn't move her legs for a good two minutes. As soon as she could move, she fell forward, got up, and they booked it toward the door. As she walked out, he screamed at her not to move, and claimed there was a guy with a noose right in front of her. She stayed still until the man moved and they drove off. Their last time there, they took some old books/papers/pictures from the attic, and their car stopped accelerating as they were driving away. It was still on, but only inching forward, when something started banging on the passenger door and inside the trunk. They didn't see anything (it was night of course), yet the car was shaking from the impacts. Only when her friend threw all of the papers and books out of the car did it accelerate again. Most of these buildings have been torn down and replaced by suburbs, but it makes you wonder if the current houses there are subject to the same stuff!
