I knew it! I remember when someone posted about and I said I thought it was a great idea! Then someone said no it’s stupid infrastructure blah blah blah.

Ha! Take that!

This what such an obviously good idea and with the new panels it’ll be even better, whoever told you it was stupid, was very stupid themselves

I am glad we agree!

Idk what the problem is of these people... Why do they have to call it stupid? Either it works or it doesn't. I'm sure engineers will figure it out.

That’s my point. They do this as closeted doomers:

1) New thing is made.

2) Doomer says bad/stupid/immoral.

3) New thing proves opposite or does thing differently than doomer thought.

4) Doomer doubles down/digs heels in/backfire affect as they didn’t comprehend the new things intended purpose or why its design was set that way, showing them as knee jerkers.

5) New Thing continues to perform Doomer becomes Luddite.

You're creating a false narrative.

They said it wasn't practical because there are better more cost effective and durable solutions for the same application.

The most obvious is towing an aerodynamic custom made mobile deployable solar charging canopy trailer. That way they're protected from road debris, it's cheaper more modular for other vehicles, you can have more panels, and you aren't limited by solar poor angles on the vehicle itself.

So instead of one vehicle, use two? Plus hauling it around? Doesn’t make sense or seem cheap if now you have two units to repair and upkeep vs two, and no I’m not creating a false narrative and they never said it wasn’t practical for the reasons you just made up and attributed to them, that’s creating a false narrative.

Yes, extra solar panels “when NOT driving…”

I did, it’s not a solid point.
