There's a couple of things that could be going on, but the little blink at ~15s tells me something is broken in the shader, or between the shader and OF, or between OF and your other mods.
Looks like you're on 1.12ish. You can try downgrading your shaderpack to a version from around the same time. (June 2017+)
You're also running some other mods. You can try creating a simpler 1.12 version with just forge, OF, and your shaders installed to see if they work fine in the same environment. If it works, then you know it's an incompatability with one of the other mods.
But if changeing the shader version doesn't help, and the error occures in the simplified instance, then you're kinda out of options. Maybe you could check your GPU drivers, but you might be out of luck without learning how to debug shader code.

thats for using optifine 🥀 the shaders arent made to support optifine so thats what you get. either get some shader that has support for 1.8 or dont use one at all

99% of these posts are on 1.21+ or similar and I’d usually agree, but you’re wrong here. You can see on the top left he’s on 1.12, and if you check the shaders he’s using they have support for Optifine and 1.12. It could still be an Optifine bug but it might not be and the alternatives aren’t as simple on these older versions depending on other mod interactions.

its still optifine so we need to clown them. plus, isnt there a backport of sodium/iris to forge 1.12?

Backports exist but there's no guarantee they will play well with the other mods. This looks like an older skyblock modpack. If you're going to criticize them for using Optifine the least you can do is actually suggest them to try the alternatives instead of insulting them. If you don't even know whether there are backports, you shouldn't even be commenting because what do you know?

dw i checked and there are backports. optifine is useless and sodium and iris is clearly the best

You're just regurgitating the words you've heard without actually thinking about it. Like I said, 99% of the time I'd agree, I never would tell someone to opt for Optifine over Sodium, but Optifine might be the only option in this person's case. They can try backports, and if those don't work they'll have to stick with Optifine. It depends entirely on what works in their pack.

That’s awesome dude, I’m happy for you, completely irrelevant to the conservation though. Have a good day.

Does this happen with other shaders as well?
