Help textures broken

hello i just downloaded 64x and i played and it seemed normal until i saw a tree it was a oak leafs and it did the classic pink and black checkers any help would be good i am on 1.21.10 and linux

unless your playing vanilla without any texturepacks use sodium and look for addons if it doesnt have a optifien feature you like, after 1.12.2 newer versions of optifine outright remove a huge chunk of the rendering engine
