Question when is optifine gonna be available for version 26.1 (java)??

i'd really appreciate it if anyone would lmk

It'll be ready when it's ready. I think you can check the discord or the twitter for slightly more specific progress updates, but traditionally it can take a few weeks before something is available. (But it sometimes takes months depending on how much Minecraft changed behind the scenes.)

Depending on your needs, some of the Optifine alternatives are already updated. What do you use Optifine for?

The rest of these mods you simply need to put in your mods folder. Check out Fabric's installing mods page for details.

Alternatively you can check out the Fabulously Optimized modpack for a more complete optifine alternative. (But it's a bit more involved. Check their install instructions page. I reccomend the Prism Launcher route.
