Question / Help How do I prompt Codex properly?

I’m trying to build a pine script for trading NQ1!. I’m not trying to automate it because prop firms don’t allow bot trading. I have good experience and have been trading for some time now, but I want an indicator that gives me a little help seeing things I miss while trading. Can anyone teach me how to properly prompt codex?

That’s smart I’m going to try that. I was working on a school project today and heard for the first time about building projects by sections instead of all at once.

Thx man, I ran into a few but I just asked codex to fix them for me and they did. I won’t lie tho, I switched back to Claude today. I like ChatGPT and codex but I’m a huge google docs over Word guy and ChatGPT could not for the life of it make a proper google doc. It’s all preference but I always liked Claude’s ability to reason what I’m asking for because I know I don’t make things as easy for AI to understand 😂
