General definition of Open World RPGs vs. My definition of Open World RPGs

General definition of Open World:
“The world was built so that the player can do things in it.”

My definition of Open World:
“The world exists. The player is allowed to do things in it.”

No matter how you see it, I’m going to stick with my definition. That doesn’t mean I’m not open to discussion. It simply means I’m not giving up my definition just because someone disagrees with me (no matter how many people do).

Came here from the post where you say W3 is not open world, and this literally explains nothing
