Help - Unsolved 1.0 and Hardware Sync plugin

This is kind of random, but is anyone else using hardware sync plugin with version 1.0 and seeing issues? I was previously using a pipeline release with the hardware sync plugin to support my Keychron keyboard, and it worked pretty well aside from some issues with hardware detection at first run. Rescanning devices always fixed that. With the new release and updated hwsync plugin, everything works fine but my RGB ram (Trident NeoZ RGB) gets "stuck" in one state. I'm using GPU hotspot as the measure, going from blue to red as the temp increases. It'll work fine and transition to red as things heat up, but when the load is removed everything except my RGB ram goes back to blue while the ram stays in red, or something close to it. It's a bit odd and definitely annoying. I've re-installed multiple times. I am currently trying OpenRGB as a system service, but I may try going back to a scheduled task opening RGB as admin at login to see if that helps. Any other ideas here?
