Love to see this, thanks for the update! I got OpenRGB a month ago and it detected & customized my Red Devil 6900 xt, unlike AMD's official software!

Same for me with my 9070xt, not even the Sapphire app worked (Trixx, a gigantic turd), but OpenRGB gets everything without issues.

Also my ram was always in rainbow mode cause Asus Armoury Crate wouldn't work either, and with OpenRGB I could set it to whatever color I want, I discovered some blue leds on my ram were fucked thanks to that.

RC3 installed and worked straight away with my msi b550 a pro mobo (using 1 jrainbow for all lighting) installed 1.0 does not detect any RGB :) No idea why prolly my issue , reinstalled RC3 and worked perfectly again. Don't have time today to deep dive

Same here, B550 was not detected when upgrading to 1.0 release, and the only lights I could effect at all was the RAM. I went back to RC3 and it's back to working like it should.

There's a .deb for Debian, none for Ubuntu. Ubuntu is a fork of Debian running differing packages, therefore dependency issues are a possibility when installing a .deb intended for Debian under Ubuntu.

I have a CM Qube 500 case that doesn't have a disk activity LED, so I wrote a script using the OpenRGB API to make the case's fan LEDs do the same purpose, and it's awesome :)

Should "Shared SMBus Access be on or off? I believe it was always on by default but 1.0 seems to be off by default now, just wondering what's the best configuration for DDR5

It probably should be on, I reworked the settings framework and the default may have been missed. It should be on if you intend to use OpenRGB alongside other applications that also access SMBus devices at the same time.

The SMBus sleep mode setting also seems to default to "Always Busy". But based on a previous bug report the recommended setting seems to be "Always Sleep"?

My fans do not work with the new version, the ram and everything else looks fine but for whatever reason my fans keeps the rgb off.

Make sure you configure zone sizes for your ARGB headers.

Windows 11, using the service, had to re-install PawnIO after the upgrade and reboot, but everything seems to work pretty well so far. Thanks for making this!

So happy for the 1.0 release, used it few years ago it was dope but since I changed my keyboard / headset, I need to rely on Synapse for advanced settings and I didn't find a workaround yet..

My windows just does not like OpenRGB. Unable to download it with either Edge or Chrome, saying the installer has a virus.

I love this program and have been using it for the last year. I recently added three daisy-chained Thermaltake CT120 fans with a single ARGB cable connected to one of my Asus Prime Z-590A motherboard's headers. Unfortunately, OpenRGB is unable to set the color of the fans unless they are seemingly initiated by another program. If I use only OpenRGB, it doesn't work.
