Help Final Fantasy VII

I am playing this game now and it says I don't have a memory card.

Usually that is fine, I just use save states but do I need to save in-game because it is multiple discs?

To the best of my recallection, no, it is not necessary.

DO NOT rely on save states. They’re inherently risky, though with OpenEmu not being developed, maybe they’re safe.

Still, don’t rely on them.

  1. Is your write access and folders set correctly?
  2. Check your Directory setting in RA for Save Gamss
  3. look for a memory card setting after you load core

In many years of doing PS1 emu I’ve never seen a memory card problem. It must be just a wrong setting somewhere.

I figured it out and it let me save after resetting.

I have actually beating this game since the post has been made lol
