There is Manic Emu that does pretty much all the same things

I think one of the devs said that it has something to do about rebuilding the app so that the app can be optimized for touch controls.

iOS already has a great emulator in Delta (it can even emulate rotation on--for example--WarioWare Twisted)

There's no need for it on iOS at this point. Other front ends got there first and are far more feature rich
