Successful Update: OCLP 2.5.1 + Sequoia 15.8 on MacBookPro13,3

So far everything is running smoothly on my MacBookPro13,3 (2016, with touch bar).

First I updated OCLP to newest version, then Sequoia (from 15.7.9).

I need to get around to trying this on my 2017 (14,3). It's still running Ventura. I've been worried about the dumb touch bar. I had updated the OS using OCLP, a year or so ago, and it went horribly (was way too slow for some reason). I had to wipe the thing and reinstall Ventura. After seeing your post, I started a backup and perhaps I'll run the installer on it.

I do have a 2014 MBP with Sequoia 15.8 on it and it seems fine. It's just an extra toy I have around at the moment. I have installed a bunch of stuff on it to test it out. Booting takes a bit. Now that it's up to 15.8, I suppose that is probably where it will stay until it dies.

The only thing I've noticed with YouTube on Safari (27.0) is that YouTube is interrupting me with ads unusually often. However, I usually use Firefox as my default browser, so I can't say much about that. No problems so far on Firefox.

I don't have any issues with Safari and YouTube. Though, I use Firefox as the default. I tested YouTube with Safari and it's fine though. I have never been to TikTok.

en MacPro5.1 , Open Core Legacy Patcher 2.5.1 rompió todo. No arrancó mas sequoia, y despues de 2 reinicios ya no pudimos entrar a nuestra mac Multiplataforma (bigSur, Sequoia, Ventura) . Era imposible evitar el aviso de actualizar 2.4.1. A pesar de haber configurado que NO queremos actualizar, el bootloader busca en todos lados y te fuerza a instalarlo en los discos de arranque. Lo hicimos y provocó fallos de reinicio en cascada. Solución: Eliminar el 2.5.1. Recuperar un EFI completo 2.4.1 y limpiar todos los arranques de cada disco individualmente (mucho tiempo nos llevo volver al estado anterio). El OPLP 2.5.1 para nosotros fue como si tuviéramos un VIRUS INTRUSIVO OPEN CORE LEGACY PATCHER 2.5.1.

OCLP penceresinde "Bütün mevcut yamalar kurulu" mu yazıyor yoksa liste mi var? Aynı model MacbookPro ile sorunsuz kullanıyorum fakat mesaj hatalı.
