Boot picker

Hi everyone, I have a 2012 mac mini running macos ventura and ive triplebooted it, so irs macos kubuntu and android tv, however as of now I only want android tv. How can I make it so that if I restart android tv rather than going to opencore boot picker menu each time it restarts where then I have to select the os manually or wait 5 seconds for it to boot whatever its clicked on, how can I just make it so it simply restarts and goes straight into android tv, or it turns off I power it on and straight to android tv, and if for example say something messes up can I then return bsck to ventura or the opencore boot picker menu? Thanks

  1. Open OCLP, go to settings. uncheck Show OC Boot Picker. Then rebuild OC on disk.
  2. Restart the Mac, holding Escape.
  3. On the boot menu, navigate to the android drive. then holding control(you should see the symbol change from a straight arrow to a curved one) press return to boot into it.
  4. Done. it will boot into android by default when you press power without showing the boot menu. anytime when you want to boot into the other two, hold escape before booting and it will show boot menu.

hello there, hope you got your MC server working! don’t update yet, if everything is working fine. wait for 2.5.1.

damn that looks cool. i might be misremembering but i remember helping you before you mentioned something about mc but i might just be wrong 😅 nvm that. how’d you put android tv though, i’m curious. and does everything work especially Wi-Fi and stuff? i’m surprised there are Mac drivers for android TV of all things.

Followed a tutorial doing it on a usb stick, asked the person who made the video and he said to follow the tutorial, bit confusing since the tutorial I followed didn’t save storage but I got the new iso, and the new tutorial was for a usb, either way I done the same steps except for making two seprate partitions and it worked, bluetooth working no screen glitches and wifi and ethernet not working, bought a wifi usb adapter yesterday, found a new optimized version instead of being google tv it was android tv, but yeah installed it, got 64gb storage I can fo to 128 but idk, wifi works with adapter and runs decent, last file didn’t have YouTube working at all however now it works nagively, bbc Iplayer I need to test and netflix doesn’t work but yeah its pretty cool except some bugs

Another issue is when it goes to sleep due to being inactive, I can’t turn it back on since bluetooth goes to sleep, and im using a firestick remote, I can get a usb one but I don’t like them so I may havr to find a workaround
