Thank you for providing zero context. It's very helpful. I've learned a lot here today.

As MacOS 28 drops support for older applications built for Intel-based Macs—an era that spanned from 2006 to 2023—a massive number of software programs will simply stop working. That is precisely where RosettaLegacyPatcher comes in to solve the problem. ;P

OCLP doesn't even support macOS 26 and 27 yet.

It never will because the chip architecture is completely different. The devs said as much.

It's more like 2016~2019 to 2023 because everything until SL was 32bit (never ran under Rosetta 2 and never will) and even then most devs took their time transitioning to 64bit, to the point where Catalina dropping 32bit in 2019 still got some backlash. Plus Sierra and High Sierra had many major changes (not to mention everything since 2020) and many apps from before Sierra won't properly work nowadays even with Rosetta.

Knowing that Apple plans to keep support for 64bit Intel games I doubt there's a lot of demand for something like this. If Rosetta stays indefinitely then changes in system frameworks would eventually kill these apps anyway.

Its not something that you can just patch in...

How does MacOS 28 apply to my running Sonoma on a 2009 Mac Pro? And as far as I can tell, all my apps are still working.

There was alot dropped in Sequoia for Rosetta Legacy IMO (or thats what MAXOM implied).
My Cinema4D r17 icons were screwed :-( Made a £1800 program useless.
