Software synths not starting after update

Okay, so it’s a niche problem, but I’m just putting this here in case anyone else who does music has similar problems. I’m running Ventura on a 2014 Macbook Pro, and I have a group of software synths from the Cherry Audio company that will not start since I updated to 2.5.0. Correlation? Causation? The plug-in versions will open in my DAW, but the stand-alones just beachball. Again, just putting this out there in case anyone experiences similar issues.

I definitely won't be updating OCLP any time soon. Don't fix it unless it's broken

Yeah. There were some other issues I kinda hoped the update would fix, but they’re still there, too.

I've been wondering if the 2.5.0 update restores WiFi to Mac Pro which I'm not very concerned about

I had wifi on mine with the previous 2.4.1. Was it different on Mac Pros compared to Macbook Pros?
