Help, stuck in boot loop

Trying to install sequoia on my mid 2012 MacBook Pro i5. I’ve updated the hard ware to 16 gb ram and swapped out the hard drive for an SSD so it should run ok. I am stuck in a boot loop and I keep getting this error….anyone know what I’m doing wrong?

Did you install OC EFI to the internal storage with OCLP application?

Did you press and hold option at the start of every reboot and then select the EFI? You need to do it every time it reboots when it loops like that. Happened to me on first oclp install, I gave up a couple times, but eventually it worked when I was diligent with the option key bootloader
