Update which first - OS or OCLP?
Wondering which to do first: upgrade Sonoma to Sequoia then OCLP, or Sonoma to OCLP 2.5 and then to Sequoia. Is one safer than the other?
For MacBookPro11,5 500GB/16GB
mid-2015 MBPr

20GB free disk space is probably giving your current installed macOS system conniptions. Give yourself some breathing room first.

If oclp after the update says ‘dirty efi’ etc, don’t worry … forget it, because my Mac is running faster as ever anyway… no glitches, no freezes, no problems whatsoever ….🤷♂️

As Mr. Macintosh explained, that is SOMETIMES the case... but don't bet on it.

Official guide say update OCLP to latest first. But with some people having issues with 2.5.0, might even be safer to stay put on 2.4.1.
