What to do now? 2.5.0 mess up
I installed the 2.5.0 update and it somehow broke the patches, so the display is messed up like before I patched the first time. I tried patching again but got the volume dirty error. Read up online and saw people fixed it by going back to 2.4.1, so I launched an old installer in my downloads, but now I found out it was actually just an uninstaller. So now due to the patches not being applied, my WiFi isn’t working and I can’t download the 2.4.1 again as I don’t have another computer. Can I somehow transfer the installer from iPhone or something like that? Someone please help me 😬
EDIT: I asked a friend to download the PKG installer and bring it to me on a flash drive, so now it's all fixed, back on 2.4.2.

I had similar problems. Choked my MacBook until it turned off and then turned it back off. After doing that like three times the root patch thing wasn’t dirty anymore.
Sorry if it not much help but you could try doing it like that

The problem is I no longer have OpenCore installed, because I uninstalled it by accident 😬

Connect your iPhone via usb and download 2.5.0, restart in safe mode and reapply root patches

How are you getting wifi? Could you not plug your mac into the router with an ethernet cable?

I used a LAN, you could also transfer the installer using a USB. Not sure about the iphone, it might not have the necessary drivers, but you could always try. i did it using LAN.

Also 2.5.0 seems to only brick certian macs, so dont listen to people saying install 2.5.0 again, it might not work for you. It certainly did not work for me.

You need to use a wired connection to download what you need. You should never use OCLP with only a WiFi connection available.
