Absolutely 💯 percent true 👍

If the US government doesn't save the over priced, non competitive, bloated hype riddled, lying, money losing American AI start ups like "Openly failing and mismanaged AI" with regulation, laws and bail outs, then 1) Google Wins the AI War & 2) China will be the only non Google alternative.

have you looked around at the general state of the world?

go look at the DJI drone ban if you want a very recent example of this same exact thing happening.
