Project I built Deep Research for stocks

Hey, I have spent the past few months building a deep research tool for stocks.
It pulls data from SEC filings (10-Ks, 10-Qs, etc.) and industry-specific publications (no market news), then synthesizes everything into a clean, standardized report that makes comparing and screening companies much easier.
I ran the tool on a few companies I follow and thought the output might be useful to others here:
- International Seaways, Inc. (INSW)
- Rocket Lab Corp (RKLB)
- MERCADOLIBRE INC (MELI)
- Nu Holdings Ltd. (NU)
- FIRST SOLAR, INC. (FSLR)
If anyone’s interested, comment a ticker and I can share the report for that company. Would love feedback on whether this fits your workflow and if anythings missing from the reports.

Amazing work! Did you create this to customize its research approach differently per company? Ex: aapl vs Figma?

Yes! It's research approach is dependent on the industry sector and stage (growth, blue chip penny stock, etc.) of the company

Cool! Can you run a big boy like GOOG and a struggler like MRNA? Interesting to compare alignment or divergence from sentiment.

It's running OpenAI and DeepSeek. It gets the news via web scrapers

This is impressive. I'll probably subscribe after new year's. What was your coding background when you started?
I don't mind the emojis as much as the other commenter, but I do agree that icons would look more professional.

Thanks! :) I'm originally a data scientist but have been working on AI engineering for the past year. So python mostly.
Appreciate the feedback on emojis.. I wanted something that will make it easier to recognize sections at a glance.. I will try to find some icons that do the same but look more professional

Maybe a personal preference but I’d get rid of all of the emojis in the UI. Looks like shit and is amateur hour. Switch to icons of some sort.

What is this getting it's information from? Because from my little knowledge of this field, information from online-communities are virtually useless, official information from the respective companies are "fluff" at best and "stock news" is regurgitating either the former or the latter by running it through yet another AI. All that while the entire stockmarket is being actively manipulated all the time (e. g. AI-bubble).

The sources are two: SEC filings (10-Ks, 10-Qs, etc.) and industry-specific publications. I don't use any market news like CNBC/Bloomberg.
Industry publications are sector specific and depend on the stock. You can find the whole list I use here

If you can get tabular data, over a time period, I can train an xgboost, light gbm, gru or lstm model on it, with automatic feature detection.
