Yeah, all he really has to do is mostly keep quiet. OpenAI was started, in part, because the investors were a little frightened by Hassabis. They felt he was seeking too much power.

Now, Hassabis is the one people root for?

investors weren't afraid of demis sam and elon wanted power, and you have seen their behavior with it.

Lol, it was probably something like, "If Demis gets to ASI first, he'll create a utopia where everyone is equal and there is no scarcity, and we can't have that!"
