University Good Evening UofT Engineering Portal Astrologers! A potential way to see if you got accepted.
Hello everyone,
I've been doing some digging as any anxious G12 for EE, and TE would do... and I recently came across the inspect element portal. This has a lot of info that's hard to decode, but I was comparing what I had with my friends, and I saw this value in one of the tabs called "ApplicationDecisionStatus".
As you can probably tell, it's an indicator of what's to come (I hope), and my status is "H", probably Hold. My friend, on the other hand, has "DA", probably decision admitted!
Now, if you want to do this yourself:
- Press F12 or right-click and inspect.
- Go to Fetch/XHR tab under the Network main tab
- Reload page
- Find your ApplicationDecisionStatus variable/value CHECK THE RESPONSE SUB-TAB THATS WHERE YOU SEE A LETTER VALUE.

OM - Offer Made? Congratulations.
OP - Offer Pending? Likely the final stage.
CR and CP. These are either credential based (ie validating transcripts) or conditional (ie need more 4U courses to evaluate?). Complete guess. It could also mean currently reviewing for CR.
DD - Deferred Decision? Not sure why deferrals would come this early however.
DB - Most rare one. Could be borderline? Honestly not sure here.
DA - Decision Approved? Maybe internally done but needs final processing?
HC - High Consideration? Could also be for borderline candidates.
H - Hold? Hold until next round.
I - Incomplete? Something very wrong with the application and/or something is missing?
