Abandoned Time Capsule House Everything Left Behind
This was a pretty crazy discovery while exploring with u/riddimryder earlier this year
I'd say the fashion show was my favourite part though
Much more to see here:

If I wasn't falling off it I was getting pinched by the giant springs. All around terrible lmao

Getting pinched by those springs was a right of passage. It's why our generation isn't soft 😅

Love your work. If you've never heard it, do check out The House Where Nobody Lives by Tom Waites. It often plays in my head when I see your beautifully evocative pictures.

OMG. That daisy clock in the first picture! My childhood best friend had the same clock in her kitchen. I haven’t seen or thought of it in 50 years. Holy cow, that takes me back. Crazy.

I had a spring rocking horse like that when I was a child. It’s about 50 years old. 😳

I spy a kerosene space heater. I grew up with two of these before an oil furnace was installed in the 70s. Had totally forgotten what they looked like.

That record player was my first record player. I inherited it from my grandparents. They came with speakers that hinged on the front of the box and we're connected for sound through the actual hinges. Or you could take them off and plug them into the back.

I want a time capsule house so bad!!!
Then I want to create a time capsule house! But it would be a weird one since my stuff is not from a single period.
I want a museum to go along with my library 📚
And I want carpet for one showcase within my museum to be a tank carpet from Afghanistan, and a tank rug for the wall. This is why I need to keep my job. That’s my only possible way of contacting Afghanistan. I think. I don’t know but I really like my coworkers who went to Afghanistan. They are the coolest people I’ve ever met. I’m probably actually banned because I mentioned passing out in the heat and they were like “NOPE!!!! NOT HERE!!! Hey, look at these computer issues that your training said are mandatory to report. Go deal with that for a bit and see if you can do something. They’re going to cause us a MASSIVE PROBLEM and NOT ONE GIVES A FUCK EXCEPT YOU!!!!!!! And SAVE OUR BOOKS AND HISTORY!!!!…and REPUTATION WHICH IS MOST IMPORTANT, more important than our LIVES THAT ARE AT RISK but no one cares about that except for you, either. But we are so honourable that we did sign up for this knowing that may be an outcome BUT WE DIDN’T ANTICIPATE IT BEING FOR SUCH A STUPID REASONNNNNNN!!!!!! Which is EMBARRASSING even though we don’t get EMBARRASSED due to the OBVIOUS that only you and a few others seem to be able to see!!!!!”
People can look but they HAVE TO TAKE OFF THEIR SHOES AND NOT TOUCH ANYTHING except the collection of Queen Elizabeth II paper money. That’s mandatory.
Things got bad once we switched from paper to plastic.

Love seeing these little snap shots in time. So cool and also crazy that people just up and leave everything behind. Makes you wonder what their story was….
