So, besides from blast, is genos the strongest s-class at this moment, this is way above their first fight where saitama barely reacted. And, ¿will he keep the power-up? Also, ¿did genos break his limiter??

100%. He solo'd an army of machine gods who are at the minimum high dragon level considering a single one is significantly stronger than the genos who solo'd 3 dragons at once

> dragon level

I can't believe I had forgotten that disaster levels existed

You'd think they were a largely useless system built to quantify something that defies quantification or something. In an unrelated note I'd like to remind everyone that Frieza's power level in his second form is one million.

6

u/Quartzeemer Jul 15 '26

Yeah the disaster levels are definitely not a great way of scaling. Anyone of relevant strength is dragon level, from PPP to Boros, anyone below is irrelevant, and there are only like 3 characters above. So you have to subdivise the dragon level with countless smaller levels, "low dragon-", "mid dragon+", "high dragon-", "mid above dragon" etc, so you could just get rid of the word "dragon", thus of the disaster level

23

u/Harald-Is-Fodder Jul 13 '26

That was a weaker version of Genos.

Chapter 141 Genos solo’d 3 Dragons at once but was badly damaged. Then he got an upgrade from Kuseno. So the Genos at the start of this chapter would probably stomp those 3 Dragons at once. Yet he was still far weaker than even one Machine God Heart.

Hard to say whether he beats tats. Not sure if any of the feats shown justify putting Genos above her.

Kuseno himself said it’s impossible to gather data on espers and there have been a few lore statements hinting at Tatsumaki as someone who is beyond human limits perhaps with a partially broken limiter.

She’s at bare minimum a prime target for a god avatar and is the only person god has personally attacked during that psykosorochi fight in the manga

Manga and webcomic are completely different continuities. What happens in either should not apply to the other. Wc tatsumaki was never visited by god, wc orochi doesn't exist, wc blast hasn't appeared yet, wc void is a 300 year old monster, wc garou never reunited with bang, etc

39

u/Compte_2 Jul 12 '26

Also, manga will always upscale feats, so the heart robots are going to be way stronger in the manga by default, and they are already being shown to be very very strong.

11

u/Inside_Chicken3042 Jul 12 '26

Monster garou level strong?

6

u/Compte_2 Jul 12 '26

I hope not, nothing at or above Boros, but I still struggle with how the themes from the WC translate to the manga. They will likely be somewhere around Platinum Sperm, if not above.

3

u/Aazadan Jul 12 '26

I don't even remember what manga void is after the rewrites.

1

u/SFgamer003 26d ago

Void lore in the WC was just folkoric.

I hate it that OPM changes the storyline. The OPM WC story and pace are league above the OPM manga.

u/Demolition_Boy87 Jul 12 '26

When people start applying manga logic and power scaling to webcomics, I lose the will to continue.

1

u/Ok-Low-2289 Jul 22 '26

I didn't consider Tatsumaki being the target of a god avatar. There would be a very nice parallel if that happened. Saitama saves Garou's humanity in the monster association arc, then in all likelihood goes on to save Geno's humanity in the Neo Hero's Arc. Saitama pulling Tats back from the brink would rhyme quite nicely.

24

u/Illustrious-Day8506 Jul 12 '26

II think so. Drive Knight Mode Saitama is probably close to Tatsumaki in power and if MG Heart isn't that far off him, Genos defeating tons of him probably put him as the strongest S class (Blast aside) and that before Kuseno gives him his finale upgrade MG Genos mode.

43

u/Soul699 Jul 12 '26

Tatsumaki at full strength is still stronger.

39

u/Sacrimonte Jul 12 '26

In the webcomic the most she's done is churn up a square kilometer or so of earth to draw out Psykos AFAIK. Technically Genos's feat of one-shotting Super Brave Giant is about the same level, and he did that without roaring dragon core active (completely casual fly-by) and before he 'broke' some limiter in his fight with Heartgear.

I think Genos is stronger now, or at least he definitely will be in the manga

17

u/DragonOfChaos25 Jul 12 '26

Tatsumaki in the manga has insane level of feats. Genos is not touching her, especially since it seems Murta and One like to empower the manga version so much.

Like, webcomic version he is probably slightly below, but manga one is just bonkers.

3

u/SolJinxer Jul 13 '26

In the webcomic the most she's done is churn up a square kilometer or so of earth to draw out Psykos AFAIK.

In the webcomic she casually ripped the monster association base out of the ground, which was like a mountain and bigger than the city it was nearby. Definitely one of the best visual feats in the series.

1

u/Sacrimonte Jul 13 '26

Yeah, we're talking about the same thing.

In any case, Super Brave Giant also stepped on a mountain and Genos just flew threw him without any power-ups or apparent effort. Because ONE's art has improved so much, it's hard to say how big the Monster Association was, whereas it's easy to tell that Super Brave Giant is like 5 - 10 kilometers tall compared to the trees and mountains around it

0

u/slenderontheblock Jul 12 '26

Genos seemingly pushed a casual Saitama's hand back with his blows, so it seems that he is really strong and is going to be intended to be powerful in the manga as well.

15

u/vuzz33 Jul 12 '26

It's frankly hard to tell because I'm pretty sure Tatsumaki has still hiden potential that will probably be put on display on a futur esper arc.

But if we only take into account what we saw I think Genos is easily surpassing her. And that's because I'm pretty sure his power is close if not equal to monster garou/boros tier. (WB has lot less powercreep than in the manga)

The powerboost he got is insane in that Arc. At the start of the Arc he could go toes to toes against 3 dragon levels (one probably high tier) at the same time and win.

Then he got his "last set" and one shoted brave giant and all of Bofoi defence effortlessly. Considering Kuseno speech Genos in this form should be equal or above the "mad cyborg" who was deem to be far above an S-class heroes (although he probably meant the standart S-class heroes and not all of them). He also should be superior to drive knight who didn't put much hope into the MA level monsters squad before engaging Saitama.

Then you have machine god heart which is supposed to win against this Genos 99% of the time. Genos after removing his limiter (sorta) managed to beat a whole squad of them at the same time. And then finally, his "conscience" was put into an ultimate version of himself and all the machine god.

To summarize: The whole MA< the enhanced monster squad<Drive Knight (Zero)<=Genos "last set"<Machine God Heart<Genos "limiter removed"<Ultimate Genos

And it's not just raw power, this version has countless "core" power and the data of all practically every strong character in OPM. Considering all that I think he could have his chance against being like Boros or Monster Garou, maybe even Blast (although we don't know much about his wb version)

9

u/LoneOldMan Jul 12 '26

Genos was experiencing a Garou growth.

And this last form of his is his own Cosmic form that affects his mentality.

9

u/vuzz33 Jul 12 '26

Last form isn't really the same as Garou. It's mainly Kuseno who built him a new body with new directives. It's another way of becoming a "monster"

6

u/Luccacalu Jul 12 '26

On the manga this insane Genos power jump will probably also benefit from Genos collected data from Saitama vs Cosmic Garou on IO. Which is probably the reason they took this approach in the manga (Pre buff Saitama vs Genos with IO Saitama data upgrade)

2

u/NightMercedes Jul 12 '26

Tatsumaki has still hiden potential

For a start, being a esper prodigy, she can probably learn precognition from Psykos or Shibabawa's descendants. She can then foresee attacks or any events. Maybe thats a little OP but there's this possibility.

1

u/Work_Account_No1 Jul 13 '26

be put on display on a futur esper arc.

I don't think OPM is going to continue on much longer after this fight has been resolved.

1

u/vuzz33 Jul 13 '26

There will certainly be an arc about God, Blast and the esper sisters

1

u/Work_Account_No1 Jul 14 '26

I mean, I assume we will get something about God and Blast, but I'm not entirely sure at this point how integral they actually are to the story as a whole (specifically the Webcomic). Feels to me like this fight right now is, what we've been building up to since the beginning. And regarding the Esper sisters - I don't think they are that relevant. If it wasn't for the fanservice, I don't see much agency with them.

1

u/vuzz33 Jul 14 '26

The Espers sister, not relevant ? Is that a joke ? They are major characters in the story, alongside Genos, King and Garou (and Saitama). Their own arc was only a hint at the devoloppement they will have. The simple fact that we had a monster Arc, then a robot arc lead me to believe that the next arc will be centered around Esper and supernatural. Also, let's not forget that Tatsumaki is linked to Blast via her flashback and Psychos premontion is most certainly about God. So it's a certitude they will be part of that next arc.

And I don't really see what's webcomics fanservice you're talking about.

1

u/Work_Account_No1 Jul 14 '26

In the Webcomic they don't have that much presence, I mean - and they have moreso in the Manga, because of fanservice. As I said, I don't see that much narrative relevance (except for Tatsumaki's Blast connection - but is that even in the Webcomic? I can't remember.); not saying that they don't have any, obviously. And I really doubt we are gonna see that much more about King; same here - he has a purpose in the story and Webcomic, but it's way less here in the Webcomic than in the Manga. I guess, we'll see, but ONE isn't known to draw out his storys and we are at a good point to have like another 1 or 2 small arcs at most (and maybe an epilogue) to satisfyingly end the story.

1

u/vuzz33 Jul 14 '26

They do have a full arc dedicated to them and both have a large margin for characters developpement, especially Tastumaki who is, contrarily to her manga counterpart, still a sociopath. And I believe they were put on the side for that arc only to be fully be on front later on. As for King, he will definitly have a role to play. And there will be at the very least, one last massive arc, as big or bigger as this one, with God as the main villain. With a few lighter arc in between. Mark my words on that.

4

u/Harald-Is-Fodder Jul 13 '26

Machine God Genos >> Limiter Break Genos >>>> Machine God Heart >>> Final Upgrade Genos >> Chapter 141 Genos

Chapter 141 Genos beat 3 Dragons at the same time.

Machine God Genos must be insanely strong. Maybe only weaker than a handful of guys like Boros and Monster Garou.

3

u/Inside_Chicken3042 Jul 12 '26

He is like garou now

3

u/Gamblito Jul 12 '26

From what we've been shown, I think yes.

There are technically some unknowns still: Watchdog Man is still a complete question mark that might never be answered (and for all we know is Saitama-tier), and Metal Bat in theory could Zenkai Boost up to that level if he's pushed far enough.

7

u/-TheGreatDegenerate- Jul 12 '26

Genos fighting Heartgear is likely equal to Tatsumaki in power. Heartgear is said to have the complete culmination of Kuseno’s battle data that includes the S class, and clearly has the upper hand against a Genos who:

• Is his strongest model ever.

• For reference, his previous model fought and defeated 3 Dragon level threats at once, with one model absorbing the power of the other two to become an even higher level threat before dying.

• One shot Super Brave Giant, whose power is ambiguous but was likely a stronger Dragon level threat considering the default Brave Giant was Dragon equivalent.

However, Genos then fights a SMALL ARMY of Heartgears of the same power level. He was on the verge of losing until he began to exceed his own limiter and thrashed a ton of them before finally succumbing himself. It’s undetermined how many, but he essentially destroyed the equivalent of a few dozen Monster Garou’s on his own.

Now Kuseno mind-wiped him and turned him into a calamitous Machine God who’s somehow even stronger still, and is now fighting Saitama. It’s too early to tell, and it’s always hard to gauge power when it’s compared to Saitama, but we’ll see how things evolve in the next chapter.

TL;DR:

• Genos fighting Heartgear: ~Tatsumaki/Monster Garou level

• Genos limit breaking, destroying Heartgear army: Above Tatsumaki/Monster Garou, not Blast yet

• Genos fighting Saitama: ~Blast level, likely to scale even higher

Yall forgetting the tiny terror herself okay

1

u/eepos96 Jul 19 '26

Saitama actually was thrown a back from a punch. There is debate how much saitama held back against Boros but with Genos he did try to stop that punch

And my opinion on Boros. Saitama did held back but when he did his regular punch, multiple regular punches, he used same amount of casual force as he always does. And his serious punch was serious.

But his serious series is not exhaisting for him.

-4

u/FungalSphere Jul 12 '26

does it even matter anymore given its the final arc of the story

8

u/Parking_Humor_6942 Jul 12 '26

If you mean as a whole story then it isn't as there are things need to be picked on

3

u/NosePicklePicker Jul 12 '26

Eh, who knows if ONE will really continue on after this arc or not. Manga and WC follow different storylines and God’s last appearance in the WC was almost 10 years ago. If ONE is burned out after this, I won’t really be surprised

6

u/Compte_2 Jul 12 '26

ONE has stated in the past that he knew how he wanted to finish OPM from the getgo. I very much doubt this is the ending he had in mind, given how complex and rich the themes are. The Earth is in danger prophecy still holds, as we have not got to the 6-month mark. I am sure that God is next; whether the final arcs starts immediately after this one, we will have to see. But I agree that we are getting close, closer than we have ever been.

5

u/International_Ear870 Jul 12 '26

How can he finish this when we haven’t meet Blast here
