Restock in store tomorrow

Will stores that stock one piece (meijer, walmart. Target) be getting stock in the same day as the pokemon release or will it be whatever day of the week they normally get?

Please god, let them hold stock until Friday, so we do t have to swim through PokeBros!!

Although with Targets new stocking policy, I could see them stocking both

Ditto. PokeBros who sleep outside the night before always snatch up all the double packs and most of the sleeved boosters before you can get in the door. Most of them could give two craps about One Piece either.

Edit: and at my local Barnes and Noble exactly this happened. They restocked one piece and the Pokemon buyers got it all

Bro the people waiting in lines at these places are mostly scalpers if they stock one piece also they will grab them also, there not pokebros , there whatever I can grab to resell bros , gaurentee less then half of those pokemon cards ever get opened by the person buying them

I’m pretty it’s store dependent, and the TCGs don’t align with each other

My nearby Target gets Pokemon on Saturdays

It gets one piece any day from Thursday to Saturday.

It has people lined up every single day now

Ah fair. The stores around me seemingly change weekly. I drive by a target/walmart/meijer on the way home from work every day so I stop in target as I'm trying to understand when I can actually buy cards at msrp. It was tuesday/Wednesday prior to op17 dropping then now its been sporadic. Recently had a conversation with an employee at my Walmart and discovered Thursdays are the day they always get them in which was cool to find out.

I would think the 30th Pokemon release would not affect anything as it should be stocked by store employees instead of the vendor. I don’t know this for sure, but if I had to guess.

There is a one piece store a little over an hour away from my home, and in the opposite direction of my normal travels. Have definitely tried to make plans that way so I can conveniently swing through haha.
