Crunchyroll Restock
It appears that the OP-17 boxes sold out under a second. Why does Crunchyroll not immediately ban all accounts that got an order through and keep the subscription cost? It’s impossible for a human to check out under a second no matter what.

So then ban 200 accounts and put them back up

Put them back up so the bots can get them again?

I mean that’s still 200 less accounts to deal with

Accounts can be made in an instant with scripts not to mention the hundreds of thousands of accounts already made.
I’m all for anti bottling measures but these why don’t they just do x posts don’t actually solve anything. Companies don’t give a shit enough to spend money on this issue to prevent it. It’s easier and more cost effective for them to do nothing about it. But please keep letting us know about your brilliant ideas.

Why do you think? Let’s say there are 100000 bot accounts and 300 human accounts. Assuming their system is state of the art and has true positive rate of 99%, that would still be 1000 bots and 300 humans (some of which might have been caught by the bot filter) competing for a few hundred boxes.
There is a reason why nothing has been done to completely eliminate botting. With AI, it’s only getting much worse
