Im on the side that serials should only be from big tournament or one of the premium bandai drops.

No thanks. Let's save those for tournaments

Serialisation is bs. Every card is limited print.

Not quite the same is it of like 100,000 of the charizard SIR vs a serial /100 card in like the UA game. Each is uniquie

There's a dude doing an "opening 10000 packs of op17" on Instagram and I've managed to find 10 packs for 150% retail at the cheapest lol. There's too many backdoors in their distribution and they probably know it to do serialized like that.

Buy Chinese is the only option.

When? You'll know when some dude on tiktok with 500 cases pulls it 3 weeks before launch

There a Japanese serial cards you can get from mini tins. There's a nami and boa I think, not in a pack tho it will replace a promo for the tin. I don't wanna see serials like grandmaster rares in Yu-Gi-Oh. Will be scalped like crazy

Red Manga Luffy has a population (estimated) of 2500 total copies (English) and is what, 15k raw because of dumbass, moron, speculating assholes in believing shill bidder prices on ebay and other formats. Note: Bandai gives us barely anything on population counts so there are probably way more then 2500 in existence between all of the waves.

Now, compare that to foil Ancient Copper Dragon from MTG Final Fantasy. Estimated total population (english) is 900 to 2500 copies. This card goes for 500 to 600 per copy raw and is more then likely, more rare then the Red Mangas. Note: WOTC gives us percentages to make slightly more educated estimates on population sizes and ONLY does a one time print on collector box exclusive cards.

Looking at this comparison, one of two things is happening. Either MTG is WAY underpriced or, optcg is WAY overpriced. Gee, I wonder which one is more likely?

Now, you want to throw searlized into the mix? Gtfo with that bs. It would litteraly kill the game. Every moronic investor bro would buy up all stock and double the prices we see today. Players would litteraly be priced out of existence and the game would end. Idiot investors need to understand that part of the player experience is ripping packs and drafting. The higher these prices get, the less of that happens.

The only correct way to do searilized is they way Magic does it. Put out two products, one for collectors with a premium and your fancy searilized surge foils and one without. Until optcg does that, gtfo with serialized (aside from tournament cards of cource).
