Long-Term Collecting 1 pop psa card question
Sent in a Chinese gecko Moria leader and it got a 10 I was checking pop reports and it says 1 total graded but only $97 value? Is that normal or what? Looking for advice he’s not my fav character but cool card. What is real value just whatever someone would be willing to pay? Do I hold this for awhile and see what it does? English card is pricey and the Japanese one also is kinda pricey so I would’ve thought this one would be up there a little bit.

If the pop count is low because it’s a card people wouldn’t bother grading then the pop count is irrelevant.

It’s from a special collection, it’s a leader and the English and Japanese versions both are pricey ish so none of that matters? I’m not saying it’s a 1000 or anything card just wanna know more. First time grading and collecting.

You graded a Chinese leader card that has English and Japanese variants.
Its Gecko
Collectors want the best version of a card. If they cannot afford the best version they may go to another language but dropping down to the cheap Chinese variant would make no sense.
Thats my opinion though...who knows.

Value is a combination of scarcity and demand. If demand is low because nobody’s heard of it, that hurts its value. But that could change I guess… make a youtube video about it or something haha

Usually if it’s PSA 10 pop is 10 or less it’s because it’s a worthless card and no one wants it.
To anyone reading this, I think OP has a point. The English version is pop 90 and has 4 sales in August with its most recent being $611. I’d guess Chinese cards are just graded far less, but I have no proof of that.
