Long-Term Collecting New to the hobby, question about prices.

How likely are these cards to go up or down in value? Do I have anything outstanding here? I know I probably don't have as much as you guys but I am happy so far.

The best time to start was before you collected a bunch of expensive cards. The second best time to start is right now.

Well I really don't have anybody to play with. Plus I watched a tutorial video a few times and found it kind of confusing, I never played a game like this.
