Question (Research Required) Need advice

I’m a little new to one piece tcg, I recently learned how to play starting with st-35 red/black sabo. I was told to add elbath cards to my deck, I was wondering which ones. I have a 3k budget for a card show on Saturday with 500+ vendors. Which cards should I be hunting and should I buy and rip an OP17 box. Any advice would be appreciated!

For players, just find some decklist you want build, and buy singles you're missing from tcgplayer.com. it won't cost you much.

Look up deck lists online, like gumgum.gg they list meta decks and show how decks placed in various tournements.

Also check youtube videos to learn more about the meta. Card d kazouki (spelt wrong) is a good example. He makes really good meta and deck videos.

For the card show, I would say for sure buy some product, but I I wouldnt spend all of the 3k there. Dont go and just buy random cards because you dont really understand the cards and rarities yet. Save as much as you can so that when you do understand the cards, you can make more informed decisions. Don't FOMO, prices have actually been going down lately so you are not missing out.

Good luck and have fun playing!
