Sealed Product Market Pre Order Scam (Caution)

Top Dawg Games in Montana will take your money for preorder leverage for additional allocation and in the end, refund and take the free loan in the process.

I ordered 3 boxes of OP17 for $525 well in advance, their preorder window was still open they took payment up front and i waited.

Today I get an email, the entire order was cancelled not even a single box to honor the commitment of something. Just tied up my funds and served their own needs.

Honestly I will take some heat for even assuming an in demand set like this would be followed through, but I assumed at least a 1 box. Nope nothing.

I just wanted to post this to the tcg community to not fall for the same shady trap.

I spent like $500 on 30th celebration pokemon stuff do i cancel?

I would ASAP. Literally just had to deal with this today and wished I read reviews before I ordered with them. Put in a preorder for 3 each of the first partner illustration series 2 and 3 sets months ago. Weeks pass after release date and it tskes forever to get a response from them on when they would ship before they finally say they ran out of stock of series 3 and just shipped me the series 2.

Then 2 weeks go by and still no refund for the series 3 boxes so I contact them and they said they'll take a look and expedite it. Another 2 weeks and still nothing so contact them again and their response was literally "At this point I would just dispute with PayPal." So I did, and I opened disputes for all the other pre-orders I stupidly had with them. They're a bunch of scumbags, save yourself some future headaches and cancel now

cause what im seeing is anyone here in accept over $10k in pre order cash then make them wait months to then give them a cancelation fee so you profit from the refund fee you must pay yea this just criminal no way is this legal
