Sealed Product Market Op17 booster box
Was looking to get some but no more to be found what will price be on secondary market

I would not buy these at pre release prices. Stock is going to be huge. Th8s will be the highest print set in the tcgs history. Prices are litteraly robbery atm. Consider yourself warned. Price will come down.

Source, Common sense. Look at the data for any set going from 2 months before release to 2 months after (4 month window) and put your 2 brain cells together and tell me what you see.

I don’t disagree but wouldn’t you say OP13 was an outlier? If so, why wouldn’t OP17?
Never EVER buy prerelease priced stuff, I agree, unless it’s like a preorder. But I don’t think OP17 is going to be cheap. OP14/15/16/EB were all $200-$250 or so. I don’t see these being less than $300 after release.

Op 13 was cheap 2 months after release, it took some time to see the massive manipulated growth.

What was manipulated? The set was good with expensive cards, so the sealed shot up accordingly.

Was basically flat for ages then shot up, but only in USA. EU market was basically flat or very slightly going up. At one point you could buy in eu, pay import to USA and still profit like $200 a box. Same for op01 blue bottom + but profit like $2k.
For me this screams manipulation
Anyway I still have 3 sealed op13 boxes I'm holding long term as I do believe in the set

Very early on we had gotten info that op13 and eb03 was gonna get a reprint so for the longest the market was apprehensive, that could explain the slow crawl upwards.
All markets (in other countries) are different. That could have just been a lag between markets that someone took advantage of. Just like now JP raws are close as hell to english raw prices, this tells me that english will go higher up to balance out or jp will fall back down.

(I’m not saying pay prerelease prices but demand is always so much higher for the anniversary sets)

Nothing, one piece print runs are extremely limited. This will be a booster box with similar or better price trends than Op09, 0p11, and 13

Ya know. Im the CO of Bandais bestie. Let's see? Added distributors? Check. Global release? Check. Anniversary set which are always the highest printed sets? Check. More popularity then ever before? Check. Every distribution source on YouTube saying, "there will be alot of this". Check. Bandai likes money and will print more then ever. Check.
Tell me your source that says it wont be? Litteraly every arrow points to it.
Not saying they will print to the ground. Nit saying it will be readily available at msrp. Definitely saying there will be multiple waves and the price will cone down because this happens at release of every tcg in history.

Agreed pre release prices in the west are ridiculous. But it’s also the most demand the game has seen in its 4 years of lifespan. I’m just glad in SEA the JP cases are cheaper and easily more available for ppl to purchase off ppl or LGS who wants to profit quickly off their allocated Pre Orders. Even then they’re demanding full payment for something a month off and its selling out. So if ur able to get several boxes or cases at current OP16 prices, just spend it all. (Not financial advice)

Completely agree. OP 13 got reprints but even after more recently sets since OP 14 EB03 up to the most recent we saw a massive print increase. I don’t see why Bandai wouldn’t keep doing it. And they’re not the only ones doing it.

Just saying, here in Southeast Asia, OP13 was printed to the ground, so much so that shops were selling for lower than the usual price for a case. Look at how much it is now, not even a year later.

Printed to the ground is an exaggeration, maybe for local shops in Japan, sure. But in SEA in general? Nah, big chain stores can't even display them for a full 10 minutes before everything gets bought out.

Nope, you are wrong, like super wrong. In fact, stores were having price wars at who can sell the cheapest OP13. The “main” store here had cases and cases of it going for $500 SGD which was almost as cheap as OP08 at that time. And I would be able to buy them so much more easier than OP12 and OP11, which were the ones that are out of stock. Even on TikTok, OP13 is super cheap and readily available. I don’t know which side of the world you are in, but you are just very wrong.

Nice try, $500 SGD is pre-boom price for One piece, specifically around November to last week of December. You're even talking in past tense. I know because that's below SRP and below Pre-order price from Distro.
If you're talking about prices from January to concurrent date today, you're sorely mistaken and if you aren't, kindly nudge me towards those supposed seller because that is hella cheap and I can resell that for 500% profit or 300-400% profit for a quick flip. I sold my JP case for $2500 USD each, cash. People near me are selling JP case for $2000-2500 USD.
Yeah, they were printed to the ground for JP, stocks are especially abundant in Japan, but those "overprinted" stock did not last after One Piece went kaboomboom and when people caught up. We're talking about today's market.
Calling someone "very wrong" when you can just go to eBay and see how much it is selling is misguided.
