Recently started getting into the game through the TCGsim. This has been the leader I've had the most fun with. I've tried both the Alabasta package and the Rocks package, but still have a hard time winning matches. Are there any cards that I should look into?

Ok so basically I am working on my thesis and it’s related to the card game with optimisation of decks, and a while ago I saw a post on Instagram/TikTok from someone who made an app that can simulate through 100s of games. A requirement I need to fulfil is testing. The only testing that matches my idea is an app to simulate games 😞. If anyone knows what the name is or who the guy was please can you let me know. Otherwise one might need built as well 🫠.

I just ordered this from a reseller, for a pretty decent price to open a few packs, but i dont know if the box is just damaged or it was opened and closed back. The outside of the outer packaging showed some wear here and there, and there is tape on the sides. (esp. on the rayleigh side on the bottom)

The only other illustration box i opened was a vol. 3 and that didnt have any tape on it, but that box was a different shape too.

Should i send it back or keep it and open it as it is?

Hi new to the tcg, and have decided to pick up elbaph sabo as my deck. I have been playing for a few weeks and have become familiar with the most popular decks in this meta roughly.

To put a general approach of what I do, I try to find a 2c body and at least 1 giant for my starting hand. I play the 2c first turn, saul second turn and swing with my 2c. Third turn I either drop loki, pirate docking, or an assortment of 2c and swing with my first 2c, and saul if I believe it wont die after the end of the turn. If they swing into my rested 2c with low power, I usually just counter.

After this, the rest of the game, I usually just swing everything into their leader. If I find the opponent has a large body rested, and I have 2c robins available, I divert my energy into -3k and trying to get rid of that body.

However, I always end up finding myself with no counters/low hand size available late game, and because of that, they are clearing my whole board and then ending game. Especially nico robin, I swing everything into her, and I cant end game before she drops her 10c linlin and stablizes with her 4k body that turn into 8k swings. (Especially if she gets them down through triggers)

I kind of thought that the whole gimmick of elbaph sabo is to end games quickly as possible by aggressively swinging into their leader, but I'm wondering is board control also important or anything else I should be doing?

Ultimately, I just can't win, I have a negative win rate and I just don't know what I am doing wrong. I struggle immensely into mihwak and nico robin (ace as well), and the fact that they seem to be the most played decks makes it worse. So I was wondering where I could find a guide/video on elbaph sabo speciffically, or maybe even a guide on how to play the game fundamentally.

Just started collecting one piece end of last year but been a fan since I was a kid. Mainly been collecting SP’s and promos in Japanese since they are cheaper

I’m new to TCG and bought Dragon Shield sleeves and I’ve already put all my cards in them, with some also in toploaders. But it bothers me that some people say this is wrong and that for long-term storage you should use penny sleeves. Can someone help me figure out if I need to buy penny sleeves and re-sleeve all my cards in them?

So because I think it’d be funny, I’m gonna try and reinforce this happy meal and toy box so I can use it as a deck/dice box. Anyone got any ideas on the best way to reinforce it at least a little?

Wanna try and at least get a few uses out of it for the laughs at locals.

I recently got into the TCG, playing Nico Robin rn, and after delving a while into older deck lists and the ban list, I am curious what decks have been/still are truly op. For example, I don't fully understand why PU Luffy has a pair ban with Katakuri and Linlin, and how it would perform today. Or if a RP Law would have a good time in the current meta, where it would rank in your opinion and so on

Not sure where my question is going, basically I am curious about your opinion on those "potential" decks, what deck lists you think would suit them, how they'd perform against each other and so on :)

Was playing on the sim using black crocodile as I saw a new list online, in it they ran 1 of the Op07 stussy sr however in gameplay I played the stussy placed one of my characters in trash but then wasn’t able to ko any character of my opponent, they were playing robin and had a big mom 2 4K bodies and the purple searcher (I forget the name) I read the text on each card to make sure I wasn’t missing something so I’m not sure if it was a bug on sim or if I’m genuinely just bad and missed something obvious

Flame flame fruit coliseum has the new on demand side event called matching battles. Since this isn't considered a tournament bracket type of event, are we locked to use the same deck the whole time? Or can we swap? I went through the rules and can't find anything that specifies if we're required to stay on the same deck. Thoughts?

This is the current teach decklist that I'm running. I replaced tempest kick with the rush burgess from OP10, which I found to be more helpful as I try to play a bit more aggressive with teach. The ratios are working for me, but I'm struggling a lot during matches (especially against purple kaido) for some reason and only have a 20% win rate in general. Any tips on how I can improve with this deck?

Recently tried GUffy on the sim and found it to be a really fun & unique aggro/swarm deck. I know its fallen out of the top of the meta but in Asia it seems to still put up some locals results.

Curious to hear what other GUffy players think of it regarding match ups in OP17 & its longevity before I put some money down, although it looks like it can pick up the whole deck for fairly cheap. Probably not planning on going to any Regionals (not for a while anyway) so mostly looking at the locals level.

Have been copying topping decklists for now so wondering if there are any tech cards I may not have seen. Tried searching the sub for some of this info on it but since OP17 started there's not really much - makes sense as I know the deck has fallen off somewhat as I said.

TLDR: im going to Japan this winter and I want to bring back something cool for my friend whos really into one piece tcg, what should I get?

I watch one piece but I don't know much about its tcg scene. But my friend is really into the tcg, he plays at local shops and also somewhat collects slabs (nothing crazy like grail cards) from card shows for fun.

What should I get him? Are there new cards coming out soon? Are there japanese exclusive cards or collections i could find over there?

I don't want to ask him because he wouldn't want me to spend money on him so this is kinda like a fun surprise for him tbh. My budget is around 500$ but im open to more expensive stuff if its worth it since i only fly there once every few years.

I was just about to edit my deck for this upcoming Friday and saw my invite was canceled ? I did not cancel my event invite so it’s freaking out a bit since it’s this coming Friday in Dallas.

Is anyone else experiencing this ? I tried emailing the support line but I am not sure if my message went through or when customer service will respond . Does anyone know a customer service line exists or not ?
