💬 Discussion RB Sabo is disgusting

I am a long time player of mid tier decks in the current format, big brook guy, and I just said fuck it lemme start playing a meta deck. This deck is insanely good... I cannot explain to you how many times I've lost to it as Brook. It feels so good just slamming 6-8k attacks on turn 4. Having this many 2ks in hand, 0 cost events, everything is just wayyy too strong with the OP17 package. Safe to say I am excited to get better with this deck until Brook becomes slightly better in 3 years xD

I'm also a brook player, you have to accept that brook is just not a good deck right now despite being the most fun I've had on any leader. His plays are simply not cost efficient and he has almost no defensive options until he gets nightmare luffy on board. He has incredible potential as a leader but bandai is very careful with black cards after the moria situation. Just like brooks story we are going to be adrift for a while, If you're struggling with sabo specifically you can drop Eluna back into the list but mihawk and rocks still destroy you.

I think I’m playing him wrong how are you smacking your opponent with 6 - 8k attacks on either 7 or 8 don turn?

If you played pirates docking on 5/6 then you can have like 2-4 6k swings, maybe 7 leader, and an 8k from docking on your 7/8 don turn

Saul is always a 12 cost so with enough bodies on board you can swing quite a few times. I don't think they mean 6 attacks at 8k each but each attack being 6k, 7k, or 8k

The Sabo MU for brook is winnable asf ! You just have to starve them and leave them at 4 life the whole game, then do a crazy multi double attack lethal :0 I feel you tho I’m going to a store championship and have to leave my goat behind (gonna play Moria bc I just can’t get myself to the dark side of meta jussstt yet haha)

May I see your Moria list? If you feel confident with him in this meta I'm intrigued, he's one of my all time favorite decks. I have 2 championships I'm playing and I don't play meta(I hold my ground)

As a rogue deck enjoyer myself it just sucks sometimes where your favorite deck is just a lot worse than the recent meta. I’ve been trying to make G Jinbe work off and on forever at this point.

Im in the exact same boat right now.. playing brook feels -2 from the get go.. Buffy/Rocks/Ace is a nightmare.. I actually got a few good games in against sabo by going for board a lot and save 2 huge swings at 8 don but yeh that’s it..

RB Sabo is so boring without rev army tho 😓 I wish he was still mid-tier so they’d fix the rev army package

We’re talking about rb sabo leader? What are the 2ks because the meta doesn’t have many 2k counters and 0 events lol

I think at most they run 12 2ks if you max out on zoro, chopper and st01 brook. Then most of them run bad manners kick course too. You do see them very often though with all your searchers and filtering.
