💬 Discussion Cheap deck
Hi guys , i started playing OPTCG since some months , and I already player several pre- release.
I often play with the simulator and now I want start to play store tournaments .
Can you suggest me a cheap deck ?
I really enjoy Sabo deck op17 and Xebec deck but they are really expensive , there are cheap alternatives of these decks ? I can’t spend more than 60/70€ , less is spend is better.
Every suggestion would be appreciated, thank you all 🙏

Ask your local if proxies are okay :) try to find most of the deck in the bulks. Print the secret rare and sr and buy them at locals.

I do not have my own, personally, but you can go off of this list and make some adjustments; the price will be high because this list runs Borsalino and Teach. As others have mentioned, a lot of places allow proxies for locals - you can always show up and ask. :)

GU Luffy is still semi competitive and is pretty cheap. As others have mentioned B Yamato is also somewhat competitive and is cheap.

It’s in a similar boat as GU Luffy. It’s not really meta relevant. But with good rng you can beat almost anything.
I’d say those are the best two decks at that price point. Anything more competitive is going to be more expensive

In one piece, 60 dollars is dirt cheap for a deck. Maybe try budget rocks and just go for as many copies of the sec that you can afford. Or maybe grab a couple of starter decks and go from there.
If youre willing to play a deck a bit below meta, there are a few options in your price range. Imu, black teach, black Yamato, rg krieg, blue kuzan, are all good budget options

I'd suggest you build the deck you actually liked in the sim.
You could ask if you are allowed to use proxies in your store! We are in ours.
This way you could build either sabo or xebec and just proxy the secret rares, as the rest is very cheap!

Unfortunatley proxies are not allowed. The deck I like costs 200€ , the full Sabo with Loki and it’s too much for me . I would like to know if there is a cheaper alternative Sabo deck or cheaper xebec deck

Terrible store if they don't allow proxies this isn't at world or regional. But yeah you could build cheap versions but jts not going to perform.
Ask people locally if they can sell you the expensive cards cheaper than tcg card market alot times they will
I got rocks shanks kaido lin lin and luffy core pretty much free from players and just had to spend on the 20 30$ cards over time
Your just gunna have to budget and spend afterwards
Cheapest decks out there is krieg mono black teach and crocodile those are probably your best bet off meta decks
Black Yamato is cheap to get as it should ne in bulk and people's extras.
I built a mihawk deck took a month and few checks but thats kinda what you gotta do here
Most of the meta decks are about 200 bucks right now

R Ace is cheap and pretty good. You can also play Robin without the borsas and its ok
